Why wont you bring back custom designs? I really loved being able to make beautiful leotards exactly the way I wanted for less than Yumikos.

Hi Emily,

We replaced custom ordering with LOLAline and the Special Orders option mainly because we could not afford to keep offering such a labor intensive service at a $48 price.  We wanted to be able to design more new styles and curate small but fantastical collections of bright colors while still being able to keep a price our customers could afford, so that is how LOLAline was born.  You still have the option to inquire about a special order of any style;  we will then look at each special order individually and give a price quote and production estimate that is accurate for that order and covers our costs.

I know many of our customers did enjoy custom ordering, but as our company has grown and we have had to think about how we can make sure our business is sustainable.  The unfortunate reality is that making dancewear made to order, in the USA, is expensive.   We see these two options, LOLAline and Special Orders, as our best attempt to offer fashion at an affordable price and special order options for those who are willing to spend more for a made to order garment. Please also keep in mind that you can continue to find unique color combinations in many out of stock styles in Candice’s Closet.

Thanks for your support and interest in our company!

Help a fellow artist → refresheverything.com

I think the Arts is all about community.  Help out a fellow artist of mine from Minnesota.  Vote on her idea to bring dance to the next generation.  It only takes a few minutes.
