Latin Choreographers' Festival →
With getting ready for a big overhaul at LOLAstretch, we’ve been talking a lot about dancers that do other art. This weekend, at Dance New Amsterdam, is the Latin Choreographers’ Festival. This event is hosted by Ursula Verduzco, a perfect example of a talented dancer who is still performing as well as finding other outlets for artistic expression. In addition to dancing, she finds joy in costume/dancewear design and the dramatic arts. Check out the festival this weekend and as an added bonus you will also get to see me performing with CONTINUUM Contemporary / Ballet, a new project based NYC dance company that makes a point of working with dancers with real life experience. Dance Magazine will be there to document the event so this is a NYC Dance experience that you do not want to miss!
